Fixated… meaning he was focused on the broader market indexes, instead of allowing the stocks to guide what he should be doing. Another way is saying he was distracted along with the general population, news and commentary of “THE MARKET”. This is extremely hard for people to ignore, but I guarantee – once you stop worrying about these “buckets” of stocks, and focus on stocks themselves (and know how to do that as second nature) you will actually view trading in a completely new light.

Thanks Mark you are an inspiration for all of us! Question, are you saying you were late because you were focused on the leading groups? And those groups already made a big run. Or trading sector strength made the difference in your trading. Like currently Energy, Staples and materials are in strong up trends while financials and tech are in downtrends. Yet i am reluctant to pull the trigger on them because i feel they have run up quite a lot.
    May i have your opinion?
    Thanks!
