Donald listens to a radio program that tells him how to make a fully-working airplane completely out of plastic.Donald Duck makes an airplane made of plastic, following instructions from a radio. The cartoon begins with Donald listening to the radio, and has a massive pile of junk, just enough to invent his plastic airplane. Donald is trying to collect a condor’s egg when the condor returns. He hides inside an empty egg and regrets this when the large, warm mother returns. He regrets it even more when he “hatches” and mama encourages him to fly. And mama proves to be even more protective than Donald would like. The short opens on a map, with footprints belonging to Donald trailing across the border of North America to South America, making a trail through the Andes. Donald Duck is ordered to wipe out a Japanese airfield. After parachuting out of an airplane, he lands in a Japanese forest. He uses an inflated canoe to cross the river, but as soon as it fills up with water, Donald is running for his life. He makes sure the canoe hits nothing that would pop it. When he gets to the edge of a cliff, he sees the airfield. The canoe has already exploded, causing water to flow. Pegleg Pete annoys the gods Jupiter and Vulcan and neighbor Donald with his nightly trombone sessions. Pete is cacophonically playing his trombone through the night. The gods Jupiter and Vulcan (who look like ducks similar to Donald) are woken by Pete’s noise and decide to think of some way to stop this. Donald has a similar issue. He can’t sleep with Pete’s noise. He goes to Pete’s house, and Pete responds by blowing through the trombone as hard as he can right in Donald’s face, sending Donald back into his house into a wall.
