Well forgot to mention Jim Carrey Vs Tommy Lee Jones where in Batman Forever, they both played cocky over-the-top villains and they’re having so much fun in every villain scenes. However, the part where Tommy Lee disliked Jim Carrey because of his acting clown and during the set, Carrey stated that he stood close to him and “I hate you, I didn’t like you, I hate your baffooney.” So yay, Tommy Lee Jones wanted to smack and crushed him down while doing on set and Jim Carrey stepped away, but instead, they completed their Batman film and never mention these two baffooney arch nemesis’ ever again. It’s funny because Carrey told the interviews and said to them that Tommy Lee could not stand Jim Carrey and that makes it toxic.

I understand the thought process of going with method acting. But it should never get to the point that some of these actors have taken it.
Leave it on set and walk out of the role as soon as filming is done for the day. If you can’t do that, and then get back into character when filming starts, you need to work on your acting more.
Heath Ledger and Meryl Streep (who employed method acting for The Devil Wears Prada) are good examples of method acting done right. They didn’t cause problems for anyone else.
Whereas Jared Leto is example of method acting at its worst.
