Two officers fired their guns during the fatal encounter with Alex Pretti in Minneapolis over the weekend, according to an initial report to Congress from the Department of Homeland Security reviewed by CNN.
The report – from Customs and Border Protection’s initial investigation into the shooting of Pretti – says an officer yelled, “He’s got a gun” multiple times before two officers fired as agents struggled with him on the ground.

I’m wondering what went on before this apparent murder. DHS Secy Noem has shown a video where Alex Pretti is seen going after an ICE vehicle, spitting and kicking at it. Now, of course, even in the unlikely event this actually happened, this in no way excuses the behavior of those ICE monsters who so brutally swarmed Mr. Pretti and murdered him. I just was hoping somebody could show something that would prove that video is AI. It shouldn’t be too difficult for the AI experts to create. I just think it would be helpful to get that out before Noem and her cohorts can get away with this. Who, for instance, took that video? I want to hear from them.

Tell Congress ICE NEEDS limits on force, body cams, visible ID, judicial warrants, safe detention standards, better training/background checks, no qualified immunity for unlawful killings, independent investigations, new leadership, and strong oversight. Also: ban racial profiling, end financial incentives for needless arrests, stop detaining kids, stay out of schools/courts/hospitals, and focus on dangerous offenders.
