Boy, get out of here. Dexys Midnight Runners worked EXTREMELY HARD on that song, and the “Too-Rye-Ay” album. And it paid off. They’re one of the BEST bands to ever exist!
I’m puzzled that Billy Squier’s “Flashdance” in “Rock Me Tonite” didn’t make it on to here. The others may be melodramatic, badly acted, and/or technically very dated, but have any other videos ever single-handedly sunk an artist’s career?
Sorry but knockers of Gary Numan’s Cars video, not being able to watch is ridiculous. It was brilliant then and now.
The video shown here by Fuzzbox feels in the vein of the movie ‘Howard the Duck’. Fun, absurd and visually amusing. But I’m hoping that at some point in my dive into your vid history, I find their vid ‘Pink Sunshine’ and others after. I can’t believe I wasn’t exposed to this band in the 80s/90s. I just discovered then a month or two ago! Love ’em!
Cars isn’t an 80s song. Talks about Freeze Frame and shows clips from Centerfold.
The worst video EVER? Rock me tonight, Billy squire!!!
*Squier, but yeah. It effectively crashed his career.
Separate Ways (Worlds apart)
The video and song Dancin’ in the Streets by Mick Jagger and David Bowie is the creepiest and cringiest ever
I think this video deserves the top spot.
None of Diz videos are Cringe
