Finnaly someone who actually deserves the Balloon Dor welldone Harry kane and this is coming from a Gooner.
Football won. Enough of the Barcelona and Real Madrid bribes and Latino bias of the awards. Kane winning is for all times Sniejder,
VVD, Robben, Eto, Salah and Lewandowski should have won and it went to a Real Madrid or Barcelona player who won nothing internationally.
It is a joke that Real Madrid who won nothing had more contenders for the awards than Arsenal who won the best league and reach the semifinals had lots of players in the semifinals of the World Cup.
And yes the Bundesliga is padding his statistics, like the weakness of the La Liga is padding Barcelona and Real
Madrid players’ statistics. But Kane was a world-class player at Tottenham and he has always scored in the Champions League and World Cups. I remember when I used to argue with Bayern fans before he joined them that Kane was a superior player to Lewandowski and they used to say he was nowhere near Lewandowski’s level. He goes to the Bundesliga smashing his goals record in a far weaker Bayern team than Lewandowski played in and as I said then Kane scores against more elite teams than Lewandowski ever did for club and country. They just didn’t want to admit an English player was world-class, which is why they didn’t want to admit the obvious.
ٍSince the last world cup, football has become a big scam. Now after this, I guess, Infantino will be reelected and the stage will continue, even worse.
Did harry Kane actually win the ballon d’or
I appreciate the effort behind this.
Keep them coming
Congratulations to Harry kane, well deserved ballon d’or tonight 🎉
Well deserved ballon d’or Harry kane tonight 🎉🎉🎉
I think this award is meant for only European league players. Can anyone play at Messi’s level at 39? If you guys think Ballon D’or is for highest scorer, then stop making it a vote-based result. Count the goals throughout the year, and give it. I think nowadays journalists watch only highlights and goals scored and choose best players. If they watch 90-min games, they will enjoy the beauty of football that only Messi plays. One day Ballon D’or Award is given to those players who is 100 kilogram and scores goals on penalty shootouts in a video game…Watch Messi games and feel the beauty of soccer. After Messi, I am happy for Kane. But useless Rodri and Yamal were on top 10 list. Ridiculous and hilarious! Football is corrupted.
Congratulations to Harry.
HARRY KANE
The choice of Unai Simón over David Raya for the 2025/26 Ballon d’or in the award’s voting criteria. Throughout the season, Raya systematically outperformed Simón in key statistical metrics and delivered a far greater impact on both the domestic and international stages. When judged by elite statistical output and influence in major competitions—the very benchmarks used across other categories—Raya was clearly the standout goalkeeper of the year and deserved the recognition.
