🍕NEW BRILLIANT HD RESTORATION🍕
Experience the chills of classic 1950s sci-fi horror in this rare British production by director Quentin Lawrence. First released in the US as The Crawling Eye on July 7, 1958, the film was released in the UK as The Trollenberg Terror later that October by Eros Films.
Set high in the Swiss Alps, the film stars Forrest Tucker as an American scientist investigating a mysterious radioactive cloud clinging to a mountain peak—an ominous sign of something otherworldly lurking within. As climbers vanish and a research team races for answers, the threat reveals itself as terrifying extraterrestrial beings unlike anything audiences have seen before.
Tucker brings grounded authority and rugged charisma to the escalating crisis, anchoring the film’s suspense with a steady, commanding presence. He is joined by Janet Munro, Laurence Payne, and Jennifer Jayne, whose performances heighten the tension as paranoia spreads and survival becomes uncertain. Blending Cold War anxiety, isolated mountain horror, and inventive creature effects, this film stands as a memorable entry in the golden age of atomic-era cinema.

Yikes!
A good friend of mine and I really enjoyed these films back in the early 80’s when in highschool. This is REAL movie making. Having low budgets, using miniatures, and real sets instead of AI, CGI, ETC. Directors and Cameramen had to actually figure out how to get the best shots. This one, filmed in England, needed a big name to sell it in the American market. Enter Forrest Tucker. That and Tucker might have needed the money 😂
Small Soldiers I remember
Grew up watching small soldiers. And just now found out what movie it was that Ocula was watching.
