A brand new analysis of federal crash data by Priority Tire has ranked every state in America by its rate of fatal crashes per 100,000 residents, and some of the numbers are genuinely alarming. The most dangerous state in the country is Mississippi, with a fatal crash rate of 24.9 per 100,000 residents — more than twice the national average of 9.6.
