During Lindsay Clancy’s trial, forensic scientist Hilary Griffiths testified about toxicology testing performed on Clancy’s blood and urine samples. Griffiths, who worked with the Massachusetts State Police in 2023, told jurors that testing detected benzodiazepines in Clancy’s urine, including nordiazepam, oxazepam, temazepam, and lorazepam. Clancy is accused of killing her three young children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, inside their Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. During Lindsay Clancy’s trial Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police Trooper Jonathan O’Loughlin faced a heated cross-examination about the forensic evidence collected from the home where Clancy’s three children were found dead. O’Loughlin testified that investigators found no usable fingerprints on a knife and three exercise bands. He said the knife had limited fingerprint detail, but nothing that could be used for identification.
