Bette Midler is sharing a touching moment of resilience amid the devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires. Over the weekend, the 79-year-old actress shared a video of a family singing “hallelujah” on the burned remains of an Altadena home, which was destroyed by the Eaton Fire. “A family in the Eaton Fire,” Bette captioned the moving video that captures nine people singing in the middle of the rubble and smoke-filled sky. One of the women singing in the video, Karolyn Dudro, reposted the clip writing, “So glad we can offer some small comfort to those who have lost so much! Thank you @bettemidler.” As of Monday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department says the Palisades Fire has burned over 23, 713 acres and is 14 percent contained. It has destroyed 1,280 structures and killed 8 people. Meanwhile according to Cal Fire, the Eaton fire burning in Altadena, Calif. has burned over 14,117 acres and is 33 percent contained.
