I was in jail with a old Viejo im PHX in 2010 I’m not going to say his name but he was in charge of the group self labeled the Pisa’s in our pod…. long story short things happened my self and the rest of the Chicanos in the pod had the Pisa’s back in that situation and boom bop pow everything gets settled and life goes on. Well the Viejo has a young guy ask me and another Chicano into his cell to talk. He then starts to “thank us for our support and the professionalism that we maintained. He tellls us he is getting out that night. If we want to work when we are out how to find him. I send your getting deported though right he said yea I’ll go visit my wife and kids and I’ll be back in 10 days. He said I have 3 family 2 wives 1 in each country and a pregnant girlfriend so he goes back and forth all the time. Anyway we exchange info with his people not him directly and I shit you not 1-2 days later the DOs come by and pass out mail and they also pass out the commissary deposits slips you get when someone added money to your books and my self the other Chicano and like 5 of the pisas all have an announcement deposit of $300 bucks we knew it was his people that made the deposits and it was like some real movie type stuff it was crazy and yea few weeks maybe a month or two later he’s back in yhe states and send word im here if your ready to work its was nuts

This was a great interview. I don’t think people understand a few things when he’s talking about the weapons the cartel had in that shootout. I don’t think people understand one how hard it is to get a mounted 50 caliber machine gun and how crazy it is to just be having people shoot it into the public. The president of Mexico had no choice, but to let Ovidio go they were not prepared for the wrath of that organization and they’re capabilities I’m sure it would’ve got worse if he didn’t let him go
