A Reuters investigation published this week reports that officials under both the Biden and Trump administrations asked SpaceX, over several years, to switch Starlink on or off in various countries. The account relies on six former senior US officials and other sources. These are historical requests, newly reported, not new orders. So we visited the store: three plans (residential, business, complicated international relationship), a cabinet meeting around a Wi-Fi router, and terms of service nobody can finish reading.
The facts: SpaceX did not respond to Reuters, and some details remain unconfirmed.
