Minor league pitcher Gus Cantrell is about to be put out to pasture when he is given the opportunity to do the next best thing: manage the South Carolina Buzz. The ailing baseball team is full of terrible players, but owner Roger Dorn is banking on Cantrell to make a top-notch franchise out of them. While trying to work miracles on the wacky lineup, Cantrell butts heads with the uppity manager of the Minnesota Twins, resolving their conflict on the field.

It barely has any connection to the first two. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was merely re-written to include a few characters from the other movies just so they could package it as a part of the franchise to help sell tickets.

No I couldn’t care less about either. Not my fight. However Zelensky attacked diesel refineries so trump made a deal to protect them as US assets. I can’t say this any clearer, they are not my problem.
What I love about this movie is, Seeing Roger Dorn still acting like he learned something from Lou and Jake from Major League 1.
Downtown is a triple A prospect? That’s funny because he was out there playing against the Charleston Riverdogs, Hickory Crawdads and the Piedmont Boll Weevils (now Kannapolis Cannon Ballers) which are all single A clubs. Also no minor league club even triple A is coming close to beating a major league club as dysfunctional as they may be. There’s still a massive difference in talent and ability between the two leagues.
This movie was horrible when it came out. But if they made it today it would be better than pretty much anything else that is out.
Compared to today’s movies even Caddyshack II looks like Ben Hur. Shows how bad Hollywood has become.
