Bodycam footage shown at Addison Bowell’s sentencing hearing was shown to the court. In the video, a police officer who was questioning the teen at her home asked, “So what did you hit?” Boswell responded, “I don’t know what I hit! And I don’t really care.” Judge Christina Mayer sentenced Boswell to nine years in prison and seven years of extended supervision for her role in 54-year-old Ann Seidl’s death, who was out for a morning run on March 2025, when she was fatally struck by an intoxicated Bowell.

A lot of people haven’t had the best upbringing or a rough start in life gives you little girl no excuse for what you did. You are guilty and should be found guilty. Y’ALL NEED TO RAISE YOUR CHILDREN BETTER YOU ARE FAILING THEM AND SOCIETY.
9 years??? What the hell is THAT?! I watched the video when they arrested her. Glad her Mom had her arrested, but she and the grandparents are shameful. They were babying and coddling her to no end while she was spewing her drunken hate about not caring about the poor woman she hit. Not 1 of the 3 said “Shut up!” Or “Where are you getting the liquor from?!” She deserved life in prison. I’m ashamed of our justice system. It’s disappeared.
