By going to these “protests” that everyone knows will step up to violence, looting, assaults, and arson, they are reinforcing and shielding their socialist comrades. And they know it, but they like to play the victim card. When the Louvre burns and the Eiffel Tower is destroyed by protesters’ drones, these people will complain that it was all President Trump’s fault and they’ll demand reparations.
