I had my RPLND done at Mayo in Phoenix robotically, went home the next day, saved me that long week, and weeks of PT. I went orch, four rounds of chemo, then surgery. Was not fun, but melting as much cancer away as possible before the RPLND was the plan to avoid the giant open version he had. Didn’t know about this cold capping thing! But the bone pain he is describing was easily the most painful part. They give you a shot to boost your immune system, and it was unreal pain when it hit. Vicodine and percocet did absolutely nothing. Was unbelievable. Happy he is alive
