Press secretary Katie Zacharia is expected to be “transitioning out” of her role with the White House.
In a post on X Friday, Zacharia said:
“President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to.
It was an honor to work for him.”
A suspect was killed after a shooting at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, on Thursday, authorities confirmed.
Three children ages 5, 8 and 11 and a teacher were killed in the shooting, police said. Another 7-year-old child and a 54-year-old teacher were wounded and were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
On Friday, the suspect was identified as 16-year-old Griffin J. John II.
Structures off Via Entrada are actively threatened by the advancing flames, according to authorities.
