Is this the actual flight data from this FlyDubai flight? Is this actual data taken from its flight data recorder or is this just some simulator instructor recreating what he thinks happened. The simulator reached 640 knots indicated airspeed which is EXTREMELY high for a 737. At 640 knots indicated at 14000feet, that’s WELL OVER Mach 1.

For people who did not hear this conversation — Capt. Smit told the Israeli PM in a recorded conversation that he he did indeed punch the door code — there’s a code that opens the cockpit door. He punched it a couple of times and both times the co-pilot closed it off. In the end, once he regained consciousness, he was lying on the floor and bc the co-pilot was not paying attention to him (maybe he thought he was dead), Capt. Smit was able to reach up and turn the doorknob… he was already blind due to the damage to his optic nerve, but he knew where the knob was. THAT is what he told the Israeli PM. it’s on video… you can find it on YT.

My question is how did the people even move? If you ever have been in a plane diving towards the ground you can’t move, you’re planted in your seat. How did anyone even get in or out of the cockpit?
