So happy to see Chip is alive and well. I was starting to wonder what happened to him. Your home is stunning. Congratulations on the sale of Chip’s beloved project – the castle. Kind of sad to see it’s done and gone. Hopefully you have good memories and some profit. I know it was a HUGE undertaking. In contrast, this sweet mini Reno seems Super simple, but if viewers real pay attention… There’s so much basic design tips. Every one of these mini videos I’ve seen so far are like a master class in interior design. That bathroom cabinetry was an opportunity to discuss traffic flow (a major part of any designer’s job). The choices were hinted at but not fully explained, which surprised me. I’ve been so inspired and impressed with how Joanna comes across as a mentor and teacher in these clips. So confident in her methods that she’s not afraid to share the wealth of her wisdom. I think it speaks to the Christian character they chose in the beginning, her maternal instincts, and how she aims to make her art bring harmony between life, nature, construction, business, parenting, marriage, and art.
I wish I could ship some of those wood craftsmen here to the Yucatan to build goodies for my house! Send the guys my love and respect.

Hi Jess! I have been watching your channel for years. I watch a wide variety of people too because I am curious. I am intrigued by Leanora Smee, she lives with her wealthy family and lives a life so different from mine it just makes me curious what it would be like. I watch a couple gay couples, again so different from me. I have learned so much about the world from all the van lifers that I watch. I love You Tube! Thanks for being you!

I really liked the sunroom. The gloss on the wood was perfect, so it doesn’t look like old dated wood from a 70s mobile home. Loved the custom vanity. But I can’t get past that ugly brown wall tile. Also, should have put in glass doors for the tub, the curtain is horrible and ruins the authentic.

I would have refinished the very old wooden floors. It would have been beautiful, warm, historic, and much easier to maintain.
