A woman’s mom is a history buff whose dream it is to live in a historic home. So she and her husband endeavor to bring back to life the Hembree Farmhouse. Built in 1835, this 188-year-old gem is the oldest standing house in Atlanta, Georgia.

Love how she reincorporated elements of the original home into the new design! The original flooring, fireplaces, the original beams and bricks all throughout the kitchen and range hood! Using the original wood to create the dining table and doors! The columns! So creative! That’s how you do a restoration and merge new elements with the old! Wow well done! Definitely one of the best restorations I’ve seen.
