Being betrayed is a horrible club to be a part of and I’m sorry you’re in it. I applaud Megan’s self-control, though, cos I also wanted to tell everybody how my ex treated me when this happened to me. I couldn’t stand that there were people who thought he was a cool and nice guy when he treated me awfully.
I had this exact situation happen to me when i was like 16, with a guy for near 2 years and my childhood best friend AND another 2 girls i was really close to all slept with him 😃 after we broke up, of all 3 girls, it was my childhood best friend that stayed with him for a while then it went to shit, obviously. thank fuck it happened then and not when i was married with a child holy moly.
So two things.
1.The reason Leah specified that she wasn’t trapped in the relationship was brought up in one of Megan’s videos. She had mentioned to zack that Leah was manipulative and probably going to eventually try to spin the affair into a “he was controlling and manipulating me” type situation. Megan suspects that Zack had Leah specifically say that she is not trapped in the relationship so it won’t be as easy for her to turn around if/when the relationship sours and push the all the blame on Zack. So that’s what the weird wording is about.
2. The theory about the estate sale seems pretty plausible because according to Megan, Leah decided to get rid of a very sentimental stuffed animal that she apparently even took with her to medical appointments and procedures. This was so surprising for Megan that she was genuinely worried about Leah’s wellbeing because she normally would never get rid of this specific plushie. Megan even went out of her way to buy the plushie just in case Leah ever regrets getting rid of it so she can have it back. When Megan brought up the plushie and her worries to Zack, Zack had no clue about this super sentimental and important item that you’d think someone would mention to their partner at least once. This and some other things Zack has apparently said about Leah support the theory that Leah collected all of these “sentimental” items over the years when building a personality to match Megan’s and now that she has Megan’s life, she doesn’t need the items anymore (some people also speculate it’s also due to her starting to mirror Zack’s personality)

and sadly in a month people are going to be bored of this story and begin telling her that she’s dragging it, just like they did when Kayla Malec talked about the PHYSICAL/NEARLY FATAL ABUSE that her ex boyfriend put her through. just because youre bored of the story doesn’t mean a person is dragging it. that man was the love of her life and he betrayed her with her best friend. that is a tough blow. one that is impossible for many to get up from.
