Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has been re-released in theaters, but there are no theaters in India to watch it in?
Interstellar was re-released in theaters to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The tickets for its IMAX 70mm version sold out within minutes.
But in India, there isn’t even a single theater that can play a movie in the IMAX 70mm format.
Why is that?
The IMAX 70mm theaters provide the best video and sound quality compared to any other theater.
To put it simply, the quality of an IMAX 70mm film is equivalent to 18K resolution.
India did have a theater in Hyderabad that supported IMAX 70mm, and Interstellar was screened there in 2014.
However, it was shut down in 2015.
The main reason for this is that theaters are now moving toward digital IMAX systems.
IMAX 70mm projectors are already very rare, and their maintenance costs are extremely high.

70mm IMAX is real IMAX .. gujrat science City me hai..
Isko dobara zinda kiya ja sakta hai..agar higher ticket prices rakhe jaye jaise ki ek ticket ka price 4 thousand…
Pahele paise collect karke fix IMAX se film ko lakar dikhaya Jaye …
Bhai 70mm IMAX duniya ka sabse film screen hai..bahut bada hai bhai…
Aisa experience Puri life me nahi paoge ..😂😂..
I think limited movies ko chalana chahiye pahele paise collect Karo uske baad arrangement fir movie ko chalaya jaye…..
