I want to be these old people when I am retirement age! Living the life.
Is it ignorant of me to think that if you’re rich enough to live in this place, you’d just pay for round-the-clock care at your own home? It’s a wonderful option for those who still want that social aspect in their lives, so I’m not knocking it and hope this doesn’t come off as criticism. It genuinely seems great. I guess I’m just curious as to how they find enough residents if nursing homes are traditionally geared towards those who need to be cared for in older age, but their target consumer base are those who can afford to hire that care for themselves. I guess nothing about this place is traditional, though, and that might be why it’s working for them. I’m glad it is, because these seniors seem like they’re thriving in that environment.
