Why was she thought of as having such a spotless reputation when it was said earlier in the film that everyone knew she she had done a lot of shoplifting?
There’s no documentation to prove that that’s why. It’s basically a lie the media told to sell more papers.. she had a spotless reputation because she was a Sunday school teacher went to church every Sunday and her father raised her and her sister extremely religious he would never allow them to date neither

It’s not stubbornness, it’s arrogance
How was she free of blood when she called out to the maid saying her father was dead and police were there soon after with blood still coming out of the wounds?? I feel like she had to have done it but I’m just baffled about her not having blood on her. It would’ve taken time to get out of the type of dresses they wore back then plus clean her face and hands plus clean the weapon. She could’ve held the dress against herself with one hand and then used other hand to hold the weapon but I feel that could’ve gotten sloppy.
Plus they didn’t have running water or electricity in that house.. it would have taken all day to fill up a bathtub with hot water even then the water wouldn’t be hot by the time the bathtub was full.
Lizzie’s behavior, throughout the entire episode, is consistent with someone who knows something and is covering it up. She herself clearly didn’t commit the killings as evidenced by her being utterly free of blood on her person and clothing. An undisputed fact. Lizzie was not the only one who knew something and was covering up for them as well as herself. 🎯🪓👀
