Authorities are investigating after a teen was shot and died near Spring ISD’s Westfield High School on Tuesday afternoon, officials say. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the shooting “occurred at or near Westfield High School” on Ella Blvd. A teen was taken to the hospital where he later died. The ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan man in North Austin on Sunday was not wearing a bodycam, according to reports. According to our partners at FOX 7 Austin, immigration attorney Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch has identified her client, Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, as the person who was shot by federal agents. Multiple federal law enforcement sources have told FOX News that there is no bodycam footage from Sunday’s incident, FOX’s Bill Melugin said.
Hayden Panettiere’s cause of death was confirmed on Tuesday, more than one month after the “Nashville” and “Heroes” star died. According to a statement from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, Panettiere died from a combination of fentanyl and its chemical byproduct, as well as the anti-anxiety medication alprazolam, a muscle relaxer and a drug used to treat major depression and other serious mental health disorders, that were found in her system.
