Across the UK prostitutes are desperate to change their lives. In this powerful film we deliver searingly honest first-hand accounts of those young people who are selling sex on the streets.
It’s hard enough for young people to find their place in the world. But for some, whether they’re coping with a psychological illness or are facing major challenges, just getting through each day can be a struggle.
This powerful series of one-off documentaries uncovers the reality of these extreme lives, giving a voice to those experiencing these often misunderstood but hugely impactful conditions and situations. Each episode covers a different topic, spending time with three or four contributors to get inside their minds and under the skin of their difficult day-to-day lives.

I often ask myself what’s the difference between sex workers and sugar babes or as I like to call them: looking-for-Mr. Sugar-Daddy. The only answer I can come up with is desperation to make ends meet. We hear from three women who’ve been there.
Don’t kid yourself, there is no difference. The desperation is just as strong, no matter how you slice it.
How awful for the customer and the seller.
A lot of people will probably disagree with me, but… Sex workers are typically very upfront. Money, time, and the “expectations” are clearly defined in almost every interaction.
Sugar babies, on the other hand, may or may not be as honest and upfront. Some are very transparent. A lot of SBs though, will string a man along, making him think he is the only one, or that this is her first time being a SB, or that he is a bigger priority than he really is, or that she has feelings for him, or that she will eventually have sex with him (with no intention of doing so.) A lot of sugar daddies don’t even realize that they are being played. They honestly think they are in some kind of BF/GF relationship with the SB.
???? Marriage operates on the same premise! Sex in exchange for resources!
By overcoming making ends meet is working more than one job if you have no education and then get some kind of certification…..
Does anybody know of any channels that have content on the people paying for these services? Ya know, the ones that have the deeper mental health issues.
No one is forced to live this life. You have options. You just have to want a different life. No matter how bad your earlier life, be strong and rise above the bad and seek the good.
Truth is that one CHOOSES prostitution over any other means of earning a living. No victims here..
i hope he eventually found a life out of tht, he seems like a nice guy
The gay sex worker is reminding me of a movie I saw recently: “Stranger By The Lake”
The plot is relatively about a gay man who frequents a cruising spot out in the woods. One day he’s see a guy he’s interested in drown another man; but he stays quiet and starts a relationship with the guy… Completely random and hardly related; but i felt like sharing i guess 🤷♀️
I wish someone was willing to pay for my body. I have to sell competence, which I have precious little of.
