Why do we dream? What even is a dream? And can we control our dreams? Those are just a couple of the questions surrounding the mystery that is dreaming. Today, Raj and Noah dive into the murky dreamworld with postdoctoral fellow in the Cambridge Consciousness and Cognition Laboratory, Karen Konkoly, where she explores consciousness in the dreaming brain and specializes in lucid dreaming, to find out what dreams are really made of.
