The supplement craze does not seem to be going anywhere, but it does seem harder and harder to know when, which, and if you should be taking any. From creatine to Vitamin D, there are a million things that we are told we should be taking to make us healthier, but are they all really helping us? Luckily, Raj and Noah are joined by just the guy to help us unpack this complicated world: chef, dietician, and behavioral scientist, Dr. Wesley McWhorter. Oh, and he’s a cookbook author and Food as Medicine Expert.

    Regarding Vitamin C, some people need a lot. People who suffer mental problems esp tend to need super high doses of vitamin C and Niacin. I suggest people read Abram Hoffer’s book on the topic of vitamin C, Niacin, and mental illness. The general recommendations are not nearly enough for most people who do not eat foods rich in vitamins
