In this VladTV interview, Max B revisits the murder case that changed his life, addressing the robbery allegations involving Pooh Sims and Gina, the cooperation statement, and the charges he faced, including felony murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy, and weapons offenses. The Harlem rapper explains why he accepted a plea deal while facing a potential 75-year sentence and reflects on being arrested after traveling for shows in St. Louis and New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
Max B also clears up a long-debated piece of Dipset history: his claim that Jim Jones paid him $120,000 for his publishing, money he says was used toward a $2 million bond. He breaks down the cash paid to the bondsman, the property equity needed for bail, and credits his late partner for putting up buildings to help secure his release. A candid look at music, street life, legal pressure, and survival.

7:16 this reminds me of Jacob and Esau in the Bible. Esau came to his brother Jacob asking him for some of his food because he was dying from hunger and exhaustion. Instead of giving it to him, he tells Esau he’ll give him food if he gives Jacob his birth right. Instead of just helping.
