Remember when Kristi Noem had her own staff subjected to polygraph tests only to discover that she was the source of the leaks? Sending texts to the press three days in advance so that the cameras could be there when ICE raided a building constitutes a leak. The media of course would be there but they also would warn the subjects of the raid. Pete Hegseth did the exact same thing. Looking for leaks in the pentagon when he himself was the leaker. It wouldn’t surprise me to find that the secret service is being blamed for leaks when it’s the administration itself that leaked the story.

I do think just a little too much information about the catering truck thing was divulged. We absolutely should know that Trump exited the plane, and who else exited, and who didn’t. But I don’t believe anyone ought to have divulged the means by which Trump snuck off the plane. Granted, internet sleuths would have put it together pretty quickly, but there’s always a little bit of doubt as to whether the sleuths are right. I’d prefer that doubt over certainty, when it comes to things like this.

Oh, and the rest of the leaks are fair game as far as I’m concerned. “Most transparent administration” my butt.
