What more can be said about this great, studied gaze into Hell through the eye s of these two men. Sartre said that “Hell is other people”. This dialogue between the possessed killer who is leading the rationalist therapist deeper into his Satanic ambush, a Satanic puppet pulling the Master Puppeteer’s strings. What a classic spiritual gun dual! I have viewed this movie several times and it grabs me again and again. Evil is fascinating, as your other viewers concur. Controversial in the best sense of that word.
I don’t know what i was expecting but that was a good movie. I would say written by someone who understands the nature of good and evil and the powers and principalities that rule this world.

The majority of the movie is a dialog between Collin Ferrel and Keifer Southerland, it was great movies like this show how important a strong script in the hands of competent actors is.
Good thing this film has neither a strong script or competent actors, otherwise Hollywood would’ve heard of it and given it a few Oscar noms

Thank you for your insightful commentary. I grew up in LA and know many people in the film industry. Not stars, but union crew people. They are all moving to Atlanta, Toronto, and Texas. Studios are empty. Even reliable things like commercials are being filmed in Utah and Arizona.
