Canada may do 80% of its business with America, but if America doesn’t want to do business with you anymore, then your logic to keep that trading relationship makes ZERO SENSE. BTW, Canada’s annualized GDP growth is currently at 3.4% whereas it’s only 1.5% in the US. Canada is making at least 3X the number of jobs as the United States. For example, while the US lost 23,000 jobs in July, Canada made 75,000 jobs. Not bad for a country a tenth of the size of the US. You mentioned over taxed companies? You obviously don’t run a business in Canada, I do. My business pays 12.5% corporate tax rate in Ontario (combined federal and provincial) whereas the US corporate tax rate starts at 21% federal plus state tax.
Plenty of people across the political spectrum care about election security. The real challenge is agreeing on the right policies to protect the vote without disenfranchising anyone.
Trump doesn’t get enough credit. It takes a very special kind of person to get most of the world quietly hoping to see Iran win the war and China as a more trustworthy and reliable trading partner than america.
