Griff Trust, who directed Hayden Panettiere in her final film, 2025’s ‘A Breed Apart,’ revealed on Instagram, he was asked to participate in an intervention for the 36-year-old actress after concerns about her sobriety arose once filming wrapped. He explained that, to his knowledge, the intervention did not end up happening. He also added, Hayden ‘deserved better company’ than her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, during her sobriety battle. According to reports, the Drug Enforcement Administration joined the investigation into her death, the cause of which is not yet public — though an overdose is suspected.
