I think one of the issues with Pop the Balloon is its an expose’ and exploitation of a larger issue within Black American culture. I saw a few episodes of “Pop the Balloon” and the show is very superficial in my opinion.

And I’ve had women tell me they don’t think my husband is handsome. I have no issue with it, and that’s what I’m saying about allowing the women to say they don’t find the men attractive.

The show was so successful as a concept that many versions were created. I think most of the constants or guests don’t know what they want many of them have been single 4ever! If you’re trying to find love going on the show might be a solution. Going on the Kendra’s show or using a dating might also help!
Arlette and BMs show was one of the versions created. The game was began original by a black American guy. I think Arlette and BMs version was just more palatable and became the stand out.
The show is entertainment….period. thw concept wasnt created by them but they did the best job at how they set up the game… its just entertainment. I dont buy into this idea that they are doing something so great for dating.
