The Brigadier was top notch. He wasn’t kissing The Doctor’s but every 5 seconds. The Brigadier would get advice from The Doctor, but then carry out his mission with or without him.
Every Who fan loved the Brig.
Apparently, Inferno was the last story to feature the original TARDIS console, and the first story in which Jon Pertwee’s doctor operates any part of the TARDIS, with the exception of his failed attempt in the 2nd episode of Spearhead from Space.
Liz Shaw left UNIT sometime after this adventure, not right after it was over. Who knows how long it took for her to leave after the Inferno case was done?
Dynamic between the Doctor and the Brigadier is just electric. So much fun. What a great end to the season.
