Troughton was a marvel. Such a tragedy that his era was hit harder by the BBC’s stupid tape wiping than any other Doctor’s, with only 7 serials surviving in their entirity. So many lost stories, including both of his classic Dalek stories.

Imagine if Troughton had ignored his wife, and stayed on for the transition to colour, and UNIT. Even just one more season…

The balls on the man to have a secret family whilst making a country-wide tv show is insane.
