This documentary is so sad man.
My heart goes out to Andrew and his family. His story hit very close to home for me because I too was caught up in the “war on drugs”. Andrew’s story exemplifies the irreparable harm that the prohibition of cannabis has caused and continues to cause. It’s time to legalize it nationally once and for all, and stop the unjust and immoral persecution of innocent, good people like Andrew.
What’s so absolutely tragic & heartbreaking is the fact this family had only 2 sons. Their eldest son was tragically killed in car/train collision.
Then this younger son was going to COLLEGE (I would almost guarantee you neither of the police personnel implicated in this doc has a college degree!😡🤬) to better himself & increase his earning potential, while holding the legacy of his, successful by all appearance’s, family farm on his shoulders – his father’s ambition subsequently collapsed after what happened to his younger son.
So not only did these police officials destroy a bright college student’s life & future
BUT ALSO

Because that’s such an unpopulated safe area of the country, the police had to make stuff up to justify their jobs and bolster their budget.
So what it really boiled down to was greed/corruption – the takeaway. At the cost of a family farm legacy and an educated young adult’s life & future.
