MOVIE SYNOPSIS
Popular Los Angeles radio personality Frankie J. Parker meets the mysterious and beautiful Melinda, and the two quickly begin a passionate romance.
When Melinda is brutally murdered inside Frankie’s apartment, he becomes determined to discover who she really was and why someone wanted her dead.
With help from his former girlfriend Terry Davis and a group of karate students, Frankie uncovers Melinda’s hidden past and a dangerous conspiracy involving organized crime, political assassination and a ruthless mob boss.
Now Frankie must fight his way through killers and criminals to avenge Melinda before he becomes their next victim.

Melinda marked the feature-directing debut of Hugh A. Robertson, the acclaimed editor of Shaft who received an Academy Award nomination for editing Midnight Cowboy.
The film also introduced audiences to Jim Kelly, who would gain international fame one year later fighting alongside Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon. Melinda was filmed throughout Los Angeles, with interior scenes completed at MGM’s Culver City studios.
