The Democratic Socialist of America Party movement is going to ruin any move closer to true progressivism though. The pillars of their platform abolishes the Senate, abolishes borders, ultimately to abolish the government itself, and more. The whole Democrat party will be lumped in with that. We had 2 true years of Democratic congressional majority since 1995. The rest was ties or 18 years of Republican congressional majority.
The last 30 years isn’t the fault of the Democrats, but the people think it is because that’s what the majority party has been telling them.
