Personally, I believe that the coach was involved in Patrick’s murder.
My reasoning is, that the coach only had one scholarship he could offer to either Patrick or Carlton because he could only pay out of his own pocket for 1 of them.
Carlton and the coach talked secretly about a “solution to the problem” and there you have the end result.
Because, if the coach was just concerned about his job and reputation, he would’ve just taken his punishment and went on about his life, but, yet, he’s asking players to help him cover up a crime???
Yep, he was involved!
