Melissa Dolores Thornton gives heartbreaking testimony about her daughter, Lacambria Toomer’s tumultuous relationship with Ryan Cooper. Thornton detailed an incident when Cooper allegedly pointed a gun at Toomer while they were in a car, which resulted in Toomer jumping out of the moving vehicle. Cooper is facing charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and concealing the death of another in the slaying of the 23-year-old, whose body has never been found.

My heart goes out to the mother. We all want to keep our children from harm, but there is only so much that can be done when your child becomes an adult and keeps going back to situations that cause them harm.
This is every parent’s worst nightmare. My heart goes out to this family as they search for answers. I hope the daughter’s story helps investigators uncover the truth and that everyone involved gets the justice and support they deserve. Praying for her safe recovery and strength for her loved ones.
