What the NYT carefully does not say is that the reason China was so keen to downplay Covid-19 is that it probably leaked from a Chinese lab. (Made in conjunction with USA and Australian virologists.) It is also very odd that a 34 year old would die from Covid-19, take so long to die, and that that patient was the whistleblower.
