Angle was an amazing actress.
She is so awesome
So basically what she is saying was she wasn’t all that beautiful so they couldn’t groom her or mold her into a tragic star, such as Shirley Temple, who thankfully got out while she could, or Judy Garland who sadly couldn’t win or escape…so by not being a starlet they wanted, Dame Lansbury WON!
What a wonderful woman. Sat here alone in my garden in the beautiful sun reminiscing of all the roles she played during my childhood. Bedknobs and broomsticks is still one of my favourite movies. Rip.
