I am absolutely thrilled that you are putting so much emphasis on ATR. I know we will probably look at things differently but I will definitely remember the difference it made in my active trading poetfolio. Happy subscriber to multiple of IBD services. I just wish they had not offered me the best deal ever for a yearly plan.
I was down double digits before I learned the real importance of using ATR of the portfolio, as well as the Indexes, as additional confirmation for, in my mind only, the optimumn entry point.
What is still cloudy in my mind, using risk analysis from backtrading, what are the statistics encouraging strict or mechanical sells on the way up? Much the same as you were buying on the way up?
Give it your best shot. I enjoy and parse every perspective. Even the laptop confiscated by that guy Webby. I originally subscribed to the weekly charts (which arrived by FDX Saturday morning) a long time in the past.. I should have really started paying close attention to the theme back then. Thanks to your crew for carrying on Bill’s methods, philosophy and most important, how and why your current views in the current market, you tweak with full explantion of why.
and, because I forgot, that Ken Shreves is in need of a haircut.
