In this short post (and later on several short posts) I will be sharing with you a series of fascinating evidence from the 3rd revelated book by the Almighty Creator, the Quran.

In this post specifically, I will be sharing an evidence from chapter No. 86 known as the “Knocking star”.

In this chapter which is comprised of 17 verses, the Almighty Creator begins the chapter by swearing by the heavens and the “knocking star” as follows:

Q86:1 – “By the heavens and the knocking star”.

Q86:2 – “What do you know of the knocking star?” (God is rhetorically asking Prophet Muhammed).

Q86:3 – “It is the piercing star”

You may go now to youtube and search for a “knocking star”, or what is known by scientists as pulsars, and hear their strange knocking sounds and watch their piercing movements from non-muslim sources.

If you curiously ask, why would the Almighty Creator swear by the knocking star, why didn’t he simply swear by sun, our own star? Well, he did. He swore by the Sun in a chapter titled “The Sun: Q91” and even the moon in its own chapter “the moon: Q54”. But he swore by the knocking star to provide us with an evidence of his perfect creation in this vast universe.

The revelation of the knocking star (pulsars) was revelated to Muhammed over 1,400 years ago by Archangel Jibreel (Gabriel) when there were absolutely no scientific ways of observing nearby stars let alone pulsars that are thousands of light years away.

Hence, this is a solid proof that the Quran was not written by a human nor could a human have predicted the existence of such a phenomenon 1,400 years ago. Only an Almighty Creator would have known that. Hence, God almighty exists and he taught this phenomenon to his prophet.
