I see her husband as a super insecure man who used his father’s wealth to basically get what he wants, to coerce things. I just don’t know why she said yes to everything and just gave in. There were multiple opportunities for her to call it and leave but she just continued on. Kept having kid after kid with this guy. Maybe its her religion, maybe she’s afraid, maybe she thinks this is the best she’ll get. I don’t know..it boggles my mind. It’s so so sad, my heart breaks for her. She’s sacrified herself in this. She’s just a means to an end to him. I just hope that at least, should something happen..she will get at least half of the wealth. Though that’s not even worth all she has sacrificed. I feel like shes too tired to fight, he wore her down and keeps her pregnant so that he can control her. It’s quite frankly abuse..in my opinion. Woman left the farm and got jobs because of World War 1 and then World War 2. This was the driving factor in forcing woman from the farms and from the kitchens and into the work force. Only after WW2, the woman stayed in the work force. Uhlike in WW1. Although many did stay working after WW1, WW2 solidified woman in the work force.
