  1. Black Baltimorean here. We definitely have our dialect. 😂 My kids were educated in predominately white schools and they make fun of the way I talk. Especially my “tew”. 😂

  2. Idris Elba is good with accents? Who knew? The way he nailed the Baltimore/American way of speaking in The Wire is astounding.

  3. Please do Michelle Pfeiffer in Russia House. I thought her Russian accent was perfect, but you’d know best. How about Gwyneth Paltrow in Emma? Kenneth Branagh doing a NY accent in Dead Again. That was pretty hilarious.

  4. Apparently, the better the actor, better the accents. DDL, Brad Pitt, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Heath Ledger are truly of a kind when it comes to acting. Tom Cruise, Kevin Costner, Michel Keaton, Mickey Rooney , Kate Winslet, Keanu Reeves are “stars”. Not at the same level. The exception being, naturally, John Malkovich

  5. I knew something was off with Ocean’s Eleven, hahahaha. It’s fun knowing the specifics cuz as a watcher you can’t really pinpoint what makes it so accurate or not. (I have come back to this video an ungodly amount of times over the years every time and find out oh I’ve finally watched that movie)

  6. In snatch that’s a traveller accent, definitely not Belfast. It’s an ethnic accent that has its own slight variations within Ireland but also GB to a lesser extent. Northern Ireland itself has several accents. Derry and Belfast are miles apart and again the North Antrim accent is unique.
