Your phone is the device that is with you most of the time. So yeah, it’s the best possible way to notify you.
@ you already get notifications tho, even with the face detection or a recording. I wouldn’t want my whole screen taken up during a doorbell ring

Do not recommend. Used it before, the problem is that it triggers to record too late. Had my packages stolen from the porch and it catched the guy after he bended to pick up packages so I don’t have his face, didn’t catch him walking up the porch only after he got infront of the camera and bended showing top of his hat, that’s when it started to record. Unusable footage. DO NOT BUY IT
Why didn’t u enable 24hour recording
@Technology-pe6rc @Technology-pe6rc because it kills battery fast. I needed to hard wire it to external power, this defeats purpose of being wireless. Need to drill hole and fish wire into the door frame and use one of the outlets near by and have addapter plugged on there. Not convenient.
Now I use Reolink wired 2k doorbell and record 24h. One network wire for power and data plus more view, I can see head to toes.

@izytonv if it’s wired, then it probably would trigger sooner. I have wired doorbell now, (Reolink IP doorbell camera) and it catches people across the street and records everything. Battery powered securety cameras are garbage

You have to wire it in for it to record 24/7 either to the SD card or to the homebase.

I’ve been having a lot of problems with it. And now I cannot even connect to it anymore… I’m receiving notifications video pictures but I cannot have live view..

Sorry to hear that. Try resetting it or reach out to eufy. I have heard also that customers have got their cameras messed up or even got bricked after a firmware update. Hoping that’s not the case.
How do you set it up to call your phone instead notifications? I only have notifications which I need to open to anser if someone call at my door.

I bought a eufy C31. I don’t need 24/7 CONTINUOUS recording. Just typical motion/person. For this is it still required to bridge the house chime?
Just received my Eufy C31 but manual is missing. How long do I charge the battery before installation?
I guess it’s great just to see if the in-laws are at he door, anything else is a bonus 😂
