The search for the third segment of the Key to Time leads the Doctor and Romana to the English countryside and an ancient stone circle called the Nine Travellers. There they meet Professor Amelia Rumford and her friend Vivien Fay, who are conducting a new survey of the stones. Curiously, the number of stones has not been consistent throughout recorded history. The circle is also sacred ground to a cult of sinister druids with a penchant for human sacrifice. But what’s most strange is that the enormous boulders are able to move about the countryside at will…

Is it just me, or did the writers of _Doctor Who_ harbor hostility toward religion? Any time we see a group of priests chanting, trouble is sure to follow. Now, I realize that trouble follows the Doctor anywhere he goes, but no religious group ever seems benign.
The actress playing the Professor is BRILLIANT…I keep forgetting she’s only acting….

Timelady and future Lady President of the High Council and yet first she nearly dies wearing heels. Then goes back to the ship to get proper boots, but which are also heels. The latter are very stylish and somewhat functional, but why heels? I blame the writers and producers of the show.

I came home and my dad said I have something you need to see and we watched Robot thanks to a local PBS station that ran and repeaded Tom Baker episodes. Good Times!
