For a privileged and likely spoiled kid that was rarely told no, she is somewhat like-able. Kate Hudson was perfect for this movie as Penny Lane.
Crazy how Brad Pitt was up for the part of William Miller. Would like to have seen him in the role. Patrick Fugit was really good. Guessing Cameron Crowe would know best who was best for the part oh himself. Haven’t seen Fugit in anything since or maybe I just don’t recognize him? Will have to check into that.
    For
The most part I loved the casting of Lester Bangs (late great Phil Seymour Hoffman), the mom (Francis McDormand), and Russell Hammond (Billy Crudup).

They said Brad was cast for Russell and then showed William, because apparently they enjoy irony. There is no way Cameron Crowe is going to cast Brad Pitt to play him, nobody would have let him live that down.

I really do love this movie and I do like Brad Pitt in a lot of films a lot of different ways but he was not made for that role anyways I think it would have taken away for sure from the movie. I’m not saying he can’t play a role any role because he can he did burn after Reading and he also did f****** The invisible Man on Deadpool I mean he’s versatile and he does a bunch of wacky s*** I like him but we needed who we had for that particular film it’s crazy because I just watched this movie a couple days ago and haven’t thought about it in years and all of a sudden now that I’ve watched it I’m seeing all of this s*** pop up

This is what we call back in the day a remote dropper
Your scrolling through channels trying to find something and this comes on
Didn’t matter if it was at the beginning, middle or towards the end of the movie
    You drop the remote
